What is MJF 3D Printing?

HP Multi Jet Fusion — Production Quality

MJF uses a fusing agent and detailing agent applied simultaneously across a powder bed layer, fused with an infrared energy source. The result is parts with isotropic mechanical properties — performing equally well in all directions, unlike FDM or SLS.

MJF is the preferred technology for end-use quality parts in PA12 Nylon at production volumes — faster and at lower per-unit cost than injection moulding for runs up to a few thousand units.
